I think often we let the hustle and bustle of life get in the way of taking care of ourselves and our relationships.
Most of us just end up on auto pilot and go through the motions of life – pretty sad hey? and if you don’t realise it soon, your whole life will just blend together and you won’t know whats going on.
Lately, i’ve been feeling like every day is Groundhog day.
Every day I wake up, I make my coffee, I make my lunch, drive to work, spend 8 hours a day sitting in an office, drive home, go to gym, eat dinner, wash the dishes, go to sleep.
Who else does the same thing every day? It sucks hey! I am 21, and stuck in an infinite time loop – It happens to the best of us!
All we are trying to do is work hard, and save hard so we are able to enjoy life and travel and run around without a care – But, I do not want to sacrifice my twenties for that! and no one should!
HERE ARE MY TOP TIPS TO GET OUT OF YOUR INFINITE TIME LOOP
- Take a day out of the week to do something for you and your partner – go to the zoo, go for a picnic, go for a drive to the beach, your opportunities are endless so GO AND LIVE!
- Make a small change to your daily routine – after I get home from the gym or work Will and I have made the executive decision to do something different! Whether it be, going for a nice walk at sunset, going for a swim, going for a coffee, going to get ice cream, going to play pool – opportunities are also endless
- Try something new – take up a new activity you usually wouldn’t find yourself doing. You might actually really enjoy it!
- Daily self reflection – after your day has finished, take 5 or 10 minutes out for pure relaxation. That may be just talking to your partner about your day, doing some yoga, or meditation
One thing I know for sure is that the thing you call your ‘infinite’ loop is temporary! You are the one in control of making changes in your life – don’t sit around and wait for it to magically happen.
You create your happiness
