5 WAYS TO CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK

A couple of days ago I was listening to a Tony Robbins Podcast – I keep a notebook of all the podcasts that I listen to and take down notes on what I learn from them. I find this is an important ritual in my life and it helps me become a better person.

This particular podcast I was listening to, Tony Robbins discusses the magic to changing the way you think.

FOR THE MOST PART – PEOPLE TEND TO FORGET IT’S ALL IN THE MIND – WHICH I ADMIT, I STRUGGLE WITH SOMETIMES.

THE PODCAST DEFINES 5 STEPS ON ACTIVELY CHANGING THE WAY YOU THINK.

  1. FEED YOUR MIND.

Read and listen to the people who have changed their lives and achieved success. The saying goes ‘YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT’. If you think about it like that… we could also say ‘YOU ARE WHAT YOU READ’. Fill your mind with knowledge on any topic that you doubt yourself on and take control of that focus

   2. FEED YOUR BODY.

DO NOT let your own fear take you over. Fear tends to be a physical experience, I know when I am fearful I keep my head down, clench my palms and sometimes even start sweating (don’t judge we ALL do it) and all of this is a physical change taking place in my body. Tony discusses how the best way to deal with something physical is to GET physical! get into the gym and do that workout or run until you feel like your heart is going to burst out of your chest, get your hour of power and train your body and mind to be STRONG!

   3. FIND A ROLE MODEL

Get an inspiring role model, believe and know that there is a pathway for you! Maybe for you, you need to get an opposite role model. If you think you are really struggling and your life is so tough – get yourself a role model who has been through the worst of the worst and come out of it even better! Remember: IF THERE IS A WILL, THERES A WAY.

 4.  GET A PLAN AND STICK TO IT!

Find your plan of action and do it!  PROGRESS = HAPPINESS

  5. FEED YOUR SPIRIT

The most important one! Strengthen your spirit. Find what you are grateful for and take that time, take in a moment to feel how blessed you are in your life – rejuvenate yourself, give back to someone else who is worst off than you are.

People forget that life is not only about getting, getting, getting but also giving.

  1. Good tips and I love Tony Robbins! Would love to see him live one day, though I’m not sure I could deal with all the drama. Lol (see comment on other post about me being logic driven). Hahaha
